Becoming a Member
If you are not a member, you don't know what you're missing out on.
To become a member you will need to subscribe for a member share in the Credit Union. The member share is a redeemable preference share. This means that, when you resign your membership of the Credit Union, we refund you the subscription price. Your member share is not transferable.
We have three ways to apply for membership.
Online
Our online form is quick and easy. Not much time? Save your form part way through and complete later.
Please note: The form will prompt you as to what type of ID we accept and what you can enter.
Branch
A membership application form can be completed when you call into the branch. You will need to bring along proof of your identity and documents produced need to be originals. Please contact us for further information.
If you would like to become an SCU member at a branch please provide sufficient documentation to validate your identity in accordance to the new requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2007 (AML/CFT Act) that came into play on 13 December 2007.
