Get to know Jeff Ballment!

Jeff Ballment is our representative in Queensland. Jeff is based in South East Queensland and is there to service our Queensland members.

Jeff helps members in all situations including those who are suffering from hardship, unemployment, or members who are hard to contact during business hours.

During the Queensland floods earlier this year, Jeff made contact with our members that may have been impacted - those who were without power or evacuated from their homes and those who needed help with insurance claims or were unable to work.

Supporting Adam Crouch

SCU was a sponsor of the Adam Crouch Foundation Family Fun Day in Springwood on Saturday 15th October. The Adam Crouch foundation was set up to promote pool safety and prevention of drowning. There were plenty of fun activities for the whole family including giveaways, a jumping castle, face painting, sand art activities, a cricket match, and runners who came all the way from Dubbo. The day also marked the inaugural public appearance of our mascot, Syd the Pig.

Penrith Business Expo

SCU was part of the Penrith Business Expo on Wednesday 19th October at the Penrith RSL. SCU and other local businesses were there to promote their goods and services to members of the general public. There were free workshops as well as a $10,000 package giveaway.
